Followed closely by the footwear industry, AYMOD opened its doors to visitors at the 63rd edition. At the exhibition, where more than 2.000 industry-leading brands showcased their products, Autumn & Winter Collection 2020 – 2021 received enormous interest. Thousands of industry professionals visited the exhibition, where orthopedic shoes balancing the body weight have drawn great attention. The exhibition, hosting buyer delegations from 70 countries including the Commonwealth of Independent States, the USA, and Europe, also welcomed Italian companies that could not find what they had expected at MICAM in Italy.

One of the greatest gatherings of the global footwear industry, AYMOD – International Footwear Fashion Fair, adopted a series of measures under the new “return to normal” criteria determined by the Turkish government and UFI – The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. AYMOD, organized by CNR Holding subsidiary, Pozitif Trade Fairs, with the cooperation of TASD (Footwear Industrialists Association of Turkey) and TASEV (Turkish Footwear Industry Sector, Research, Development and Education Foundation), and the support of KOSGEB (Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization of Turkey), welcomed visitors at the 63rd edition this year. Taking place at CNR Expo Istanbul Expo Center for 4 days, the exhibition hosted thousands of industry professionals.

Contribution of buyer delegations from 52 countries to the global trade
More than 1.000 brands showcased their products at the exhibition, where buyer delegations from 52 countries including the Commonwealth of Independent States, the USA, and Europe participated. The exhibition, displaying thousands of brand new models from women’s – men’s footwear to children’s footwear, classic, sports, and hand-made shoes, presented products of Autumn & Winter Collection 2020 – 2021 to domestic and international industry professionals. Orthopedic shoes balancing body weight left their marks on the exhibition and the world’s lightest shoes weighing 200 grams draw great attention from visitors. AYMOD, which can fulfill the footwear needs of particularly Turkey and nearly 600 million people from the surrounding region, offered new business opportunities for exhibitors and industry professionals. The Turkish footwear industry, employing 300 thousand people with nearly 12 thousand enterprises, came together at the first appointment of the industry after the pandemic era.
